IV (Máquina de Luz)
A cidade dorme, o relógio marca o compasso. Nessa velha poltrona o espero. É tarde, mas eu sei que ele vem. Ouço passos na rua: é ele, caminhando apressado; mas não entra, vai-se embora.
O relógio bate uma vez, são horas mortas. Não demora, ele chega. Vive longe, trabalha demais, está sempre cansado; mas hoje ele vem. Com uma rosa, vai me abraçar, dizendo: “Que saudade”.
O portão da rua se abre, ele entra. Conheço esse andar, o pai caminhava assim. Sobe a escada, vira no corredor, ele vem me encontrar; passa direto, continua a subir.
Com uma velha, quem é que se importa? Do retrato, ele olha para mim. O relógio bate uma, duas, três horas; minha cabeça pende de lado. Só não adormeço porque ele virá. Eu sei que virá.
IV (Light machine)
The city is asleep, the clock ticks. In this old armchair I wait for him. It is late, yes, but I know that he will come. I hear footsteps in the street: it is him, walking quickly. But he doesn’t come in; he goes away.
The clock strikes once, these are empty hours. He’ll be arriving soon. He lives far away, works hard and is always tired; but today he will come. With a rose in hand, he will embrace me, saying: “How I have missed you”.
The door to the street opens, and he comes inside. I know this gait, father walked the same way. He goes up the staircase, turns into the hallway, and runs into me; he moves on, continuing upstairs.
With an old lady, who is it that matters? From the portrait, he looks at me. The clock strikes one, two, three o’clock. My head tilts to the side, but I don’t fall asleep. Because he will come. I know he will come.

Máquina de Luz
Quatro engrenagens giram lentamente e interrompem feixes de luz. Cada interrupção transmite ao computador um sinal eletrônico, disparando sons. Com esse mecanismo, o grupo compõe quatro pequenas peças, utilizando sons acústicos e eletrônicos.
Diversos conceitos e ideias são empregados: fragmentação, unidade, tempo, velocidade, pulso, ritmo, timbre, melodia, harmonia, etc.
As composições brincam com a simplicidade do mecanismo e com as possibilidades de uso dos sinais gerados pelas máquinas.
Light machine
Four gears rotate slowly and interrupt bundles of light. Each interruption transmits an electronic signal to the computer, setting off sounds. With this mechanism, the group composes small pieces that utilize acoustic and electronic sounds.
Various concepts and ideas are used: fragmentation, unity, time, velocity, pulse, rhythm, timbre, melody, harmony, etc. The compositions play with the simplicity of the mechanism and with the possibility of using the signals generated by the machines.
