Uma das salas da galeria é transformada num grande mecanismo sonoro: motores, polias e correias giram em andamentos distintos. O som é produzido pelo atrito dos eixos das polias.
Os motores, ligados e desligados automaticamente, criam diversas combinações de sons – arranjos orquestrais no universo dessas máquinas-músicos.
Gears
One of the gallery rooms is transformed into a large sonorous device: motors, pulleys, and belts turn at distinct rhythms. Sound is produced by the friction of the pulleys’ axes.
The motors, turned on and off automatically, create diverse combinations of sounds – orchestral arrangements in the universe of these musician-machines.
